Trofeo Primavera - 3rd march 2013
Lonato del Garda (Brescia Italy). The weekend was definitely positive for Maranello Kart: the team won the first round of the 24th Spring Trophy in Lonato thanks to Massimo Dante in KZ2. The success was completed by the third place achieved by Nicola Gnudi; they were both driving a Maranello-Tm, just on the day of Marco Zanchetta's success in KZ2 in the WSK Euro Series of Muro Leccese.
A double good achievement on the South Garda Karting racetrack of Lonato for Maranello Kart and its performing RS10 chassis, which had already showed its qualities in the opening race of the Winter Cup always with Dante and his teammates De Brabander, Zanchetta and Lapina.
In Lonato the 24th Spring Trophy showed the competitiveness of Massimo Dante who, thanks to better and better performances, after setting the third time in qualifying, just a tenth of a second behind the leader, placed second in the Pre-final and, finally, won the Final with an impressive series of fast laps. Excellent result also for Nicola Gnudi and his third place, achieved at the end of a great recovery.
Gabriele Volpato could have done much better in the ROK category if, just in the Final, he had not lost positions in the attempt to gain the leadership. Volpato, on Maranello-Vortex, had to be content with the fourth positions after getting the second in the Pre-final.
Next appointment for Maranello Kart at the 24th Andrea Margutti Trophy, scheduled for the weekend of 10th March 2013 in Lonato, with Massimo Dante and Nicola Gnudi once again among the protagonists of the KZ2 together with Enrico Bernadotto, Douglas Lundberg, Serkos Movsesian and Lorenzo Lapina.
