Start of the season
The Maranello Racing team is ready to start the year with a roar at the Winter Cup, the classic season opener organized by the South Garda track in Lonato, on calendar for February 21-23
The Maranello Racing Team will step on track with all its knights in the KZ2, a category that saw the Lonato-based outfit achieve countless results last year. The Winter Cup line-up will include Marco Zanchetta, Lorenzo Camplese, Enrico Bernardotto, Lorenzo La Pina and Russia’s Leonid Panfilov. All will step on track sporting the suit of the official team, which is once more directed by Stefano Griggio. Team Manager as of last year, Griggio has given ample proof of his skills and, one great result after another, has secured a solid reconfirmation for the 2014 season. At his side in the role of Technical Director there is, once more, Alessandro Levratti. After four years with Maranello, he is now a fundamental reference figure for all the drivers and mechanics on the team. On the technical front, all the arrows in Maranello’s bow will be racing on the RS10 chassis equipped with TM K10 B engines prepared by the expert hands of Tiziano Rizzi, who started collaborating with the team last year. The event will also be occasion to inaugurate several chassis innovations that will be showcased in detail and made available to all fans over the next few weeks. The Maranello Racing Team will be on track in Lonato as early as Wednesday February 19, eager to kick off its competitive season as best as possible. Everyone’s hope is to reconfirm the fantastic results achieved in the 2013 season and, why not, do even better! Adrenalin and desire to win are already marking the Winter Cup finish-line.
