A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE FOR MARANELLO KART/SGrace AT THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF LE MANS

Maranello Kart/SGrace’s driver has managed to get the spotlight in the qualifying stages of the International Super Cup KZ2 in Le Mans, but could not earn access to the Final due to a series of inconveniences that mainly go down to the changing weather conditions and rain that affected the racing weekend. The single round of the CIK-FIA International Super Cup KZ2 held in Le Mans has been a very good experience for Maranello Kart's driver. Performances have been high throughout the French weekend even though the weather did not help to obtain those results that the Italian outfit would have deserved. On the new karting circuit of Le Mans Tommaso Mosca has been competing in KZ2. The continuous changes of weather that mixed rain and sun for the whole weekend, turned out to be a challenge to find the right setup. Despite this difficulty, Maranello Kart/SGrace's driver managed to shine in several occasions. In free practice Mosca has been often in the top-ten. Mosca's positive momentum continued in qualifying when he ended fifth of his group. Heats have been a prize lot for everybody, mainly due to the changing weather and rain that hit the most crucial moments of the races. The driver of Maranello Kart/SGrace managed to qualify for the two Prefinals of KZ2, despite a slowing down caused by some unavoidable contacts. In the first Prefinal, Mosca ended 18th Access to the Final was limited to the top 17 places of both Prefinals, which was a real shame as the driver in force at Maranello Kart/SGrace did not has a concrete chance to take part in the Final, that was eventually run on dry tarmac and sunny weather. The weekend of Le Mans confirmed anyway the speed of Maranello Kart's chassis that has scored important victories in some of the most prestigious races during the season.
