Stunning victory for Massimo Dante on Maranello Tm in Lonato's first round of the Spring Trophy. Good races also for Nicola Gnudi. Tommaso Mosca put in a great recover up to P10 after an incident in the Prefinal.

An unquestionable victory was obtained by SGrace/Maranello Kart and Massimo Dante at the South Garda Karting of Lonato in the first round of the 26th Spring Trophy. The Italian driver, on track with the Racing Team led by Stefano Griggio on Maranello-Tm, run a stunning Final getting the lead since the beginning and eventually closing his effort with a spectacular victory. After being second in qualifying and first in the Prefinal, Massimo Dante managed to get an easy victory in the Final thanks also to the competitiveness of an excellent chassis of the likes of the new evolution of Maranello's which allowed him to cross the line with more than a second lead to his closest rival. The opener of the Spring Trophy has been quite an intense round as it had 28 drivers on track in KZ2 and a total of 242 verified drivers in all categories. Very good result also for Nicola Gnudi, who was fifth at the end of a good race. A great confirmation also came from the very young driver Tommaso Mosca, who ended his debut race with SGrace/Maranello Kart in tenth place. The not yet 15 years old driver from Brescia put in a stunning comeback race from the last spot of the grid of the Final, where he had been relegated by an incident in the Prefinal. The quality of the new entry at SGrace/Maranello Kart has been highlighted since qualifying, when Mosca set the third absolute time being less than a tenth adrift an expert driver of the likes of Dante. The other Maranello Kart Austria driver Christoph Hold has also been forced to a comeback Final due to an inconvenience at lap one after a great Prefinal that he closed in P7. Rejoined at the back of the pack, Hold managed to get back to P15 in the Final. In the other categories of the event, Cristian Griggio and Gianni Corti, respectively second and fourth in 125 Prodriver Over came to the fore on Maranello chassis, as did Francesca Suardi seventh in 125 Prodriver Under and Cristiano Fornera, who was sixth in 60 Mini. The final race of the 26th Spring Trophy will take place next 11-12 April.
